With more than 17 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Mandy Siew blends consulting proficiency with hands-on exposure in a major Government-Linked Company (GLC). Her expertise includes advancing risk and ESG governance, fostering a strong risk culture, driving stakeholder collaboration, and creating strategic impact.

She currently leads the Sustainability & Climate Risk Advisory team of Axcelasia, supporting public-listed companies (PLC) across various industries in Malaysia to strengthen their ESG practices and reporting. Mandy has developed a structured methodology to facilitate the adoption of GRI and ISSB/IFRS S1 and S2 standards, ensuring alignment with global sustainability frameworks and listing requirements while driving meaningful business outcomes.

Mandy also possesses extensive expertise in enterprise risk management, internal audit, compliance, corporate governance, and corruption risk advisory. Throughout her career, Mandy has led consultancy engagements for more than 50 clients across a broad range of industries, including oil and gas, shipbuilding, ship-to-ship operations, manufacturing, contract logistics, retail chains, pharmaceuticals, property development and construction, telecommunications, advertising, reinsurance, mining, fisheries, plantations, renewable energy, venture capital, leisure and hospitality, artificial intelligence, and financial technology. Her international experience spans multiple regions, including Malaysia, Singapore, China, Laos, Indonesia, Northern Europe, and West Africa—demonstrating her ability to navigate diverse regulatory landscapes and complex business environments.

In addition to her advisory work, Mandy is highly experienced in designing and delivering training programmes tailored for C-level executives, risk professionals, and operational teams—empowering organisations to strengthen their sustainability efforts, risk culture, and governance practices.

From 2020 to 2024, Mandy served as the Head of Risk & ISO Governance at Malaysia’s largest water utility company, where she led the implementation of ISO Integrated Management System for seven (7) ISO and played a pivotal role in strengthening operational controls, enhancing risk management maturity, and advancing the organisation’s climate risk management efforts.
